Christian Cochran Florida State Director for Right On Crime, a national campaign that supports conservative criminal justice solutions resulting in less crime, fewer victims, and safer communities. He began his career serving as a Deputy Sheriff in the Florida Panhandle and as a reservist in the U.S. Army Reserve. His passion for legislation and policy was ignited during his two-year stint as a Wounded Warrior Fellow through the U.S. House of Representatives. This allowed him to spend time helping active-duty military and veterans. He then served as the Deputy Legislative Affairs Director for the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs.

As a former law enforcement officer, Christian has commented that it may be strange to some that he is such a strong advocate for incarcerated veterans. While he is a firm believer in holding people accountable for their negative choices and making amends for them, knowing that 95% of those incarcerated today will be back in our communities at some point, he supports successful reentry programs and second chances as key to their success as well as safer communities.

Christian holds a M.S. from Florida State University in Political Science, MBA from The Citadel Graduate College, M.S. from Liberty University in Criminal Justice Administration/Public Administration and a B.S. from Columbia Southern University in Criminal Justice Administration. He currently lives in Crawfordville, Florida, with his wife, Laura and daughter, Liberty Rose.
